Outstanding! At last, a fellow with a sense of humor. I must say, most (all) corporations have no sense of humor & did not take kindly to my pranks! (28 years at a agricultural chemical co. making poison) Our Motto – “Everything we make kills something”!
The hook is rated for 800 lbs. I will test it when I buy one. I am skeptical of that weight rating. I am thinking of a test setup: Hook over tree limb, 1000 lb hanging scale attached, then a 2 ton come-a-long, & the other end of the chain attached to my pickup. If the scale reads 800lbs before the hook breaks, I’ll be convinced.
